Job summary

RTCA is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Rockford, MI location. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, assemblies, and finished components using precision tools.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, GD&T principles, and adherence to AS9100/ISO quality systems. You will document findings and support continuous improvement with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within aerospace, precision machining, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, assemblies, and finished components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications per ASME Y14.5 GD&T requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation; support FAI and AS9102 when needed.
