Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking an A&P Operations Quality Technician in Mojave, CA. You will inspect, audit and document the installation, testing and maintenance of aircraft systems, ensuring zero workmanship defects and conformance to procedures.

Role requires 5+ years in aircraft systems troubleshooting, fabrication and maintenance, with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and collaborate with Engineering to solve issues. DoD clearance ability preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aircraft systems troubleshooting, fabrication, installation and maintenance.
• Experience with fuel, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical/avionics, engine, airframe systems.
• A&P license required; IA preferred; DoD security clearance ability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and audit installation, testing and maintenance of aircraft systems with minimal defects.
• Perform quality audits of vehicles and ensure proper MDL documentation.
• Interpret Electrical Schematics for avionics installation.
• Collaborate with Engineering to solve design/installation problems and reduce defects.
• Maintain conformance to line maintenance, preflight and postflight procedures.
