Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Oklahoma City is seeking a Quality Inspector to support inspection activities for engine subassemblies and components. You will verify conformance with manuals, engineering requirements, and data sheets, and ensure safety and quality are upheld.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in inspection, familiarity with SAP, precision measuring tools, and the ability to read F119 data and engine manuals. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Pratt & Whitney Quality Management Systems, inspection procedures and quality standards.
• F119 inspection experience and ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret F119 technical data and engine manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of inspection duties monitoring the vendor repair of engine/subassemblies and components.
• Verify that repair work complies with manuals, sheets, and engineering requirements and does not endanger engine hardware.
• Review technical data and service repair operation sheets to ensure adherence to defined repair processes.
• Confirm forms, tags, and vendor serviceability per established process.
• Take measurements as required during inspection.
• Perform visual inspection of tooling, gauges and measuring instruments for calibration and compliance with quality procedures.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts for serviceability or reparability per technical data.
• Review and archive all production and quality control paperwork and inspection reports.
