Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• One to two years of quality inspection experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Review and release all shipments of forgings to ensure compliance with processing and quality requirements.
• Verify testing and operations are complete; compile paperwork to release shipments.
• Audit shipments for conforming quality, including dimensional verification.
• Perform dimensional over inspection using height gage, mics, calipers, ID/OD gages.
• Interpret blueprints; review CMM reports for conformance.
• DSQR support and related QA duties (FOD audits, inventory reviews, calibrations).
• Maintain safety and housekeeping; report defects and unusual conditions.
• Assist with material and shipping support, including export compliance items.
• Support calibration system (Gage Trak) and other duties as assigned.
