Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections, checks and tests for manufactured products. You will work with QA and production to ensure quality and solve concerns, with first shift hours 6am-2:30pm.

Reading drawings, blueprints, inspection plans and parts lists is required. 1-3 years QA inspection experience is preferred; strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent required.
• Technical/Trade School preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience of Quality Inspection.
• Strong work ethic and good attitude.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints, parts lists, inspection plans, and specification instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes using various measuring tools.
• Conducting manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming aerospace components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.
• Conducting final inspections on outgoing components.
• Prepares product verification documentation.
• Using part-marking equipment on incoming aerospace components.
• Perform component dimensional inspections per customer requirements.
