Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks a Quality Inspector to perform inspection functions on assembled parts and validate processes per the Quality System, with supervision. You will read customer instructions, blueprints, and other data, prepare parts for outside criteria, and participate in problem‑solving teams.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CMMs, interpreting setup sheets, and coordinating data exchanges through CAD/CAM and SPC systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Must be able to read and comprehend American English.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand customer drawings, mylars, and sketches.

Responsibilities

Start up and operate the CMM following proper procedures.
Read and understand setup sheets and set up jobs per instructions.
Read and understand CMM part programs and make minor adjustments as needed.
Complete data exchange through CAD/CAM and SPC systems.
Follow parts schedule and adjust for hot jobs or emergencies.
Collaborate with CAD/CAM, quality, and production to collect data and resolve problems.
Perform routine maintenance on the CMM for safe operation.
Participate in team projects and other duties as assigned.
