Job summary

HiFyve is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in College Point, NY to inspect materials, components, and finished products to aerospace specs. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections while supporting continuous quality improvements throughout production.

The role requires 3–5 years of inspection experience, a college degree or equivalent, and the ability to read blueprints with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quality inspection or related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure materials and products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections.
• Verify raw materials meet quality requirements prior to production.
• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Approve or reject materials and finished products based on specifications.
• Identify nonconforming products and ensure proper disposition.
• Communicate inspection findings with production and quality teams.
