Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is hiring a Contract Logistics 1st Shift Quality Inspector for our aerospace site in Jupiter, Florida. You will determine inspection methods, sequences, and setups, and conduct thorough inspections under the supervision of the Quality Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma and about 3 years of related experience. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Lean/Six Sigma concepts is preferred. Join a large aerospace site with opportunities for growth and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Approximately 3 years of related experience.
• Interpret blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards.
• Understand Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review documents to determine acceptance or non-acceptance.
• Produce inspection reports and corrective action requests.
• Report quality findings to the Quality Manager and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections and prepare defect lists.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure specification compliance.
• Participate in team development including quality and continuous improvement.
