Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components under general supervision. The role covers in-process, final, and FAI activities, requiring hands-on use of measuring tools, magnification, and faithful interpretation of blueprints and related documentation.

The successful candidate will verify data, support corrective actions, and work with GD&T (ASME Y14.5), AS9102 FAI, and CMM processes.

Qualifications

• Experienced quality professional in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components.
• Experience in performing FAI’s – AS9102.
• Experience with hand measurement tools; reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint interpretation.
• Proficient with MS Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection and visual inspection including in-process, final, and receiving inspection.
• Support verification of test data and documentation.
• Assist in corrective actions and root cause analysis.
• Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, and drawings.
• Process warehouse materials and follow established guidelines.

Job description

Under general supervision and reporting Quality Management in Quality Operations, The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual inspection operations including In-process, Final Inspection, and FAI’s as appropriate. The Quality Inspector must be familiar with hand tools and inspection under magnification. The Quality Inspector will also assist in verification of test data and all other applicable data concerning components, and associated documentation and other duties identified by cognizant management.

Job Responsibilities

• Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
• Experience in performing FAI’s – AS9102
• Experience with hand measurement tools
• Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
• Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
• Perform final inspection and receiving inspection (Which includes dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection)
• Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation
• Process warehouse materials
• Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the job
• Support positive corrective actions and identification of root cause
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Desired Skills

• Prior practical experience and implementation of Quality inspection tools and equipment.
• Experience in RCCA, and problem solving

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• 3+ years’ experience as a quality inspector or technician.
• 3+ years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility
• 3+ years’ experience in inspection duties, FAI’s GD&T, and b/p interpretation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Effective communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Any combination of education and experience may be considered
