Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power in Sarasota, FL, seeks a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Quality System, drive continuous improvement, and assure quality across production lines. The role partners with Operations and Design Engineering to achieve world-class quality outcomes and prepares the team for customer and regulatory audits.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years manufacturing quality experience, including aerospace exposure, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or applicable science (accredited institution).
5+ years of manufacturing experience in Quality.
At least 4 years in aerospace or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise Quality Engineers in manufacturing departments and ensure timely, efficient workflow.
Report progress and status of projects to Site Quality Manager and Operations Manager.
Participate in QRQC teams and ensure quality metrics are monitored.
Support continuous improvement across product and process improvements on active production lines.
Drive world-class manufacturing practices and monitor CONQ-related improvements.
Mentor and develop the Quality Engineering team to meet objectives.
