Job summary
Primus Aerospace in Reisterstown, MD is seeking a motivated Quality Intern to join our QA team in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This internship provides hands-on experience with aerospace quality systems, inspection processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and AS9100/ISO 9001 compliance.
The ideal candidate is pursuing an Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Quality Assurance, or related technical degree and is eager to gain real-world experience within
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Interest in aerospace quality systems and manufacturing.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection of aerospace components using precision measuring equipment.
- Review manufacturing documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Participate in internal audits and quality system activities.
- Assist in collecting and reporting quality metrics and KPIs.
- Support CAPA and nonconformance investigations.
- Assist with FAI documentation in accordance with AS9102.
- Maintain quality records and filing systems.
