Aegis Worldwide seeks a Program Quality Engineer to drive quality activities in a manufacturing setting, coordinating with customers, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

The role emphasizes MRB, FAI, APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and GD&T, with a need to read engineering drawings and lead root cause investigations to prevent recurrence and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of quality engineering in aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100D and/or AS13100.
• Experience with MRB and nonconforming material.
• Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, 8D, and root cause corrective action.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers regarding quality concerns, nonconforming parts, and returns.
• Review and process nonconforming material and MRB items.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Complete and submit First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plan activities.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Use GD&T to understand part and inspection requirements.
• Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support customer and internal quality audits.
• Monitor product and process quality.
• Track and report quality performance.
• Help improve manufacturing processes and prevent repeat quality issues.
