The role emphasizes in-process and final product characteristics, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, 2+ years in the field, and CQE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, control, and document product characteristics to meet customer requirements.
• Develop, maintain quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
• Create inspection, testing, and sampling plans with data collection procedures.
• Lead product disposition, including nonconforming material review and root cause analysis.
• Train and mentor staff on quality systems and inspection methods.
• Participate in NADCAP, CASE, FAA, supplier and internal audits; drive corrective actions.
• Manage customer deviation requests and ensure proper documentation.
• Facilitate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure calibration and integrity of inspection equipment and measurement systems.
• Perform MSA to validate inspection accuracy and verify effectiveness.
• Oversee APQP and PPAP requirements for products and customers.
• Collaborate in engineering, production, and management meetings.
• Support advanced metrology including CMM and gaging.
