Job summary

LPI Corporation in the United States seeks a quality engineering professional to support documentation of quality, inspection, production and process improvement on complex aerospace products.

You will develop inspection plans, review non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, review first article inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce waste and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T and aerospace metrology required.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Minitab experience a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop/review quality inspection plans for new and legacy parts.
• Coordinate review and resolution of non-conformances.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review first article inspections and related documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and prevent issues.
• Apply lean and continuous improvement to reduce waste.
• Perform inspections on production parts.
