Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas in Irvine, CA seeks a Quality Engineer to evaluate supplier capabilities, baseline processes, and manage non-conforming materials for corrective action across the full life-cycle. You will interact with design, incoming material, production control, and reliability teams to ensure quality across major programs.

The role requires hands-on mechanical knowledge, FAI per AS9102, and experience with ISO9100/AS9100 and lean/six-sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 yearsLEAN manufacturing experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in Quality Engineering (FMEA, SPC, RCCA, Process Control, Auditing).
• 2-3 years working knowledge of ISO9100/AS9100 QMS processes.
• 2-3 years working knowledge with Aircraft Parts and Material Conformity Inspections.
• 3-5 years FAI experience with AS9102 (FAI) protocol.
• 3-5 years experience in inspection methods, techniques and protocols.
• Airframe experience required.
• AVMS electronic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier manufacturing functions to ensure Quality Standards.
• Develop evaluation plans from materials requests through receipt.
• Dispostion of non-conforming materials and corrective actions.
• Participate in QMS audits for process deficiency and correction.
• Interact with design, incoming material, production control, and reliability teams.
• Apply lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical components and GD&T.
