Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for an aerospace manufacturing operation in Commerce, CA. The role spans manufacturing quality, quality systems, supplier quality, and continuous improvement on-site.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on aerospace manufacturing experience, be able to work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, suppliers and customers to resolve issues, and drive product and process performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace quality experience.
• AS9100 and ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Experience with RCCA and 8D problem-solving.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with MRB and nonconforming material.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP and customer requirements.
• Review drawings and specifications for quality and inspection.
• Lead RCCA, 8D, CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
• Support MRB and disposition of nonconforming material.
• Coordinate supplier quality audits and visits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve products and processes.
