Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to establish and enforce quality system processes across development and production environments. You will measure and improve quality performance, and drive root-cause and corrective actions.

You will review manufacturing build documents, conduct AS9100 audits, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure product quality and repeatable spaceflight readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in engineering or equivalent STEM degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Quality assurance experience in production environments, preferably aerospace/space.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Familiar with GD&T fundamentals.
• U.S. citizen or eligible status (citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylum status).

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes for development and production environments.
• Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance aligned with quality goals.
• Review and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records.
• Perform periodic audits of the quality system per AS9100.
• Support engineering design reviews and improve quality/manufacturability of new designs.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality concerns; develop training to raise quality awareness.
