Job summary

Quest Defense seeks experienced Quality Engineers in Lynn, MA to provide daily shop quality support and review of FAI documentation. The role involves ensuring traceability, interpreting drawings, and coordinating corrective actions on-site.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial/Aerospace Engineering and at least 3 years of aerospace quality experience, with strong communication and independent work on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with inspection planning and FAI documentation.
• Ability to interpret drawings, tolerances and specs.
• Experience with corrective actions and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspection plans and select methods and measurement equipment.
• Interpret drawings, specs, tolerances and customer inspection requirements.
• Prepare and review FAI, in-process and final inspection records with traceability.
• Investigate quality issues using structured root-cause analysis.
• Track overdue FAI and QEM actions and coordinate read-across across parts and programs.
• Support audits, customer quality requirements, and aerospace standards.
• Maintain action status and escalate unresolved issues.
