Job summary

DSJ Global seeks a seasoned Quality Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in California. You will lead quality initiatives across manufacturing and engineering to ensure compliance and reliability of highly engineered components.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with suppliers and customers in a regulated environment. A minimum of 5 years in aerospace quality is required, with experience in APQP/AS9145 preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
Experience with APQP, AS9145, or similar product quality planning methodologies
U.S. Person status required due to the nature of the products and programs supported

Responsibilities

Serve as a key quality resource supporting manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers
Lead investigations into product and process issues while driving long-term corrective actions
Monitor quality performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and consistency
Support audits, qualification efforts, and quality system initiatives within a regulated aerospace environment
Review manufacturing and engineering changes to ensure quality requirements are maintained
Drive continuous improvement projects using data, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques
