Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense in Piedmont, CA seeks a Quality Engineer to plan and maintain the quality system across engineering, manufacturing, and inspection, ensuring AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance and that products meet the highest quality standards.You will lead internal and supplier audits, drive RCCA activities, and participate in FAI/AS9102 reporting. A BS in mechanical/industrial engineering, 3–5 years in quality roles, and AS9100 or ASQ certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of quality and/or engineering experience.
• AS9100 certification desired; ASQ certifications encouraged.
• Experience with ISO-9001, AS9100, RCCA, and QMS management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quality Control System per customer and company specs.
• Lead internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance.
• Conduct RCCA and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) and AS9102 reporting.
