Qualifications

  • U.S. Person status required under U.S. export control laws.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • Two or more years of quality-documentation, inspection, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Aerospace or other regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of aerospace documentation, including Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, inspection reports, test reports, and special-process certifications.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, and applicable customer or regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and revision requirements.
  • Understanding of product identification, lot control, serial-number control, and material traceability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic document-management or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Review supplier documentation for compliance with engineering drawings, purchase orders, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Verify Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, test reports, inspection reports, and special-process certifications.
  • Confirm that part numbers, serial numbers, lot numbers, quantities, drawing revisions, specifications, and acceptance criteria are correct.
  • Review First Article Inspection Reports for completeness and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Ensure proper material, product, and lot traceability throughout each documentation package.
  • Verify that suppliers and special-process providers have the required approvals and certifications.
  • Identify missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or nonconforming documentation.
  • Communicate documentation discrepancies to suppliers and internal departments, including Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Receiving, and Operations.
  • Request corrected or additional documentation and follow up until all discrepancies are resolved.
  • Place documentation or associated products on hold when requirements have not been satisfied.
  • Maintain complete and accurate quality records in the company’s ERP or document-management system.
  • Assist with receiving inspection and product-release activities.
  • Ensure quality records are maintained according to company, customer, contractual, and regulatory retention requirements.
  • Follow all Turbine Kinetics Inc. quality procedures and applicable aerospace standards.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Turbine Kinetics Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Documentation Reviewer to review supplier documentation and verify that all purchased materials, components, and services conform to engineering drawings, purchase orders, specifications, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace quality standards.
