Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Paramount, CA seeks a Quality Specialist to review and verify completed jobs for conformance to customer purchase orders, drawings, and specifications.

The role includes working with vendors and internal departments to generate a certificate of conformance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, fluent English, aerospace QA experience (AS9100/ISO9001), strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Aerospace Quality Assurance experience (AS9100 or ISO9001).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and certify conformance for major OEMs.
• Review Job Cards for accuracy and compliance with specs and PO.
• Operate within SOPs and Job Safety Procedures.
• Help close out completed jobs.
• Verify Certification packages are complete and correct.
• Communicate with Quality Specialists, Managers and supervisors.
• Support other departments during high workload periods.
• Ensure PO complies with specifications.
• Respond to customer requests for corrected certifications or docs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers via timely responses.
