Job summary

Western Pneumatic Tube Co., a division of AeroFlow Technologies, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist at our Kirkland, WA facility. The role partners with site leaders, employees, customers, and suppliers to uphold quality, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a safe manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have aerospace quality experience, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of aerospace quality experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, operation sheets, and related docs.
• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Computer proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and disciplined processes.
• Integrity, dependability, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A self-starting, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Manager with developing and maintaining quality procedures and work instructions.
• Create certification packages for outgoing products.
• Maintain and update specifications and the equipment‑calibration database.
• Support the company’s quality management system and conduct internal audits per AS9100 requirements.
• Partner with Purchasing to manage the approved supplier list, track supplier performance, and review external vendor certifications.
• Facilitate effective root‑cause analysis and corrective action using problem‑solving methods.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Inspection, and Manufacturing to resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure internal nonconformances and CAPAs are completed effectively and on time.
• Coordinate with leads and supervisors to conduct employee training and maintain training records.
• Perform other duties as needed in accordance with quality-system requirements.
