Indirect Precision Machine Works Inc. in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the manufacture of complex aerospace machined parts.

You will lead new part development, process improvements, production troubleshooting, and customer liaison for quality issues and configuration changes. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and at least 5 years in aerospace quality engineering, with strong root-cause analysis, process mapping, and documentation

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, combination of education and experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years manufacturing quality engineering experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsabilités

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions; drive or participate in Kaizen events.
• Review AS 9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
• Standardize and optimize inspection plans; establish in-process inspection and operator certification.
• Track key quality data (MRB, rejection causes, process).
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
