Job summary

Mason, a Transdigm subsidiary, seeks a Quality Management Systems Engineer to maintain and improve our QMS for aerospace products across design, manufacturing, and service. You will lead internal audits, document control, and training alignment to AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements.

The role requires strong QA engineering experience, expertise in AS9100D, and collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of aerospace quality systems experience in an AS9100-regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience administering QMS documentation, revision, and quality record retention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continually improve the QMS in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
• Develop, revise, and control QMS procedures, work instructions, forms, process maps, and quality records.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external audits (registrar, customers).
• Administer document change, revision, approval, and retention controls; ensure current documentation is available at points of use.
• Support RCCA, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness for nonconformities.
