Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a QC Inspector to inspect aerospace components and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards.

The role involves dimensional and visual inspections, documenting findings, and maintaining quality records. You will read blueprints and manuals, verify conformance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a first-shift environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engine manuals, specifications, and manufacturing documentation
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate in English across all work instructions

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, engine manuals, and technical documentation.
• Verify products meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection results and create quality records to verify product conformity.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming products.
• Communicate inspection findings with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
