Job summary

SQA Services, Inc. is seeking six Level 2 Quality Inspectors to support aerospace manufacturing at an El Segundo, CA facility. Roles are 100% onsite with a 1st shift and a six-month contract. Inspectors verify product quality, ensure compliance with drawings, and document nonconformances.

The client provides training and laptops; candidates must be able to work onsite and participate in an interview. Compensation is $32–$35 per hour with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience.
• 3+ years with QA specifications and requirements.
• 3+ years documenting corrective actions and nonconformances.
• 3+ years interpreting blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings, and SOPs.
• 1+ year reading aerospace engineering drawings.
• 3+ years using precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to frequently lift 20 lbs or more.
• 100% onsite work in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent quality inspections and document results clearly.
• Monitor operations for compliance with drawings, specs, and procedures.
• Identify, document, and report discrepancies and nonconformances.
• Initiate and support corrective actions and root cause investigations.
• Maintain quality records, traceability, and acceptance documentation.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, specs, and SOPs.
• Develop and audit inspection plans and acceptance criteria.
• Support quality audits and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing Eng., Materials, Procurement).
• Use MES and tracking systems such as JIRA and Costpoint.
