Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a QC Inspector for the 1st shift to inspect aerospace components and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process, verify conformance to engineering specs, and document inspection results. You’ll read blueprints and manuals, use precision measuring tools, and communicate findings with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams.

A high school diploma or GED and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English (spoken, reading and writing).
• Dimensional and visual inspection experience on aviation/aerospace components preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and nonconformances.
• Ability to document inspection results and quality findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, engine manuals, and technical documentation.
• Verify products meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection results and create quality records to verify product conformity.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming products.
• Recommend process adjustments when quality issues are identified.
• Communicate inspection findings with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Perform product audits to verify processes consistently produce conforming hardware.
