Qualifications

• 3+ years of inspection experience in electronics/mechanical
• Experience with PCBAs, cables, and optical parts preferred
• Ability to order/execute first article inspections using drawings or process docs
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL-STD standards
• Knowledge of ESD control practices (S20.20) and handling
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Inspect and determine acceptability of mechanical parts and assemblies (PCBAs and cables).
• Use engineering drawings or process documentation to perform inspections.
• Execute first article inspections for newly released designs.
• Perform incoming, in-process, final and pre-ship inspections to ensure conformance.
• Record results in the quality management system and communicate findings.
• Generate nonconformance reports and propose rework or scrap as needed.
• Conduct process audits and identify opportunities for improvements.
