Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a QC Inspector for its aerospace manufacturing operation on the 2nd shift. You will support receiving, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring parts meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements while keeping production on track.

Responsibilities include verifying counts and certifications, reviewing documentation, inspecting with calipers and micrometers, and documenting nonconformances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of quality inspection experience
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good computer, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, outsourcing, and final inspections
• Verify part counts, serial numbers, certifications, and customer requirements
• Review travelers, routing instructions, and production documentation
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Identify, document, and help resolve nonconformances
• Support production teams with quality-related questions and issues
• Complete inspection records, certifications, and quality documentation
• Validate outside processing documentation and certifications
• Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
• Help drive quality, process consistency, and on-time delivery
