Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) to ensure aerospace components meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards throughout manufacturing and repair processes.

The role involves receiving, in-process, and final inspections, documentation review, nonconformance handling, and support for continuous improvement to enhance quality and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of quality inspection, manufacturing quality, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and similar inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, outsourcing, and final inspections on aerospace components.
• Review specifications and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Verify counts, serial numbers, lot control, and traceability throughout manufacturing.
• Conduct visual inspections and dimensional checks with precision tools.
• Identify nonconformances and aid in corrective actions.
• Audit certifications and supplier documentation.
• Support production by troubleshooting quality concerns.
