The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Quality and at least 5 years in manufacturing QA, including leadership, with strong AS9100/ISO 9001 experience and CAPA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing quality experience, including leadership or supervision.
• Proven background with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality frameworks and audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of CAPA, 8D problem-solving, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily quality assurance tasks on the production floor.
• Sustain and improve the Quality Management System to meet ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
• Lead internal and supplier audits; manage remediation and actions.
• Drive root-cause analyses, implement preventive measures, and track KPIs.

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to direct quality functions in our manufacturing facility. You will be tasked with refining our Quality Management System, upholding rigorous aerospace and manufacturing standards, and guiding a team dedicated to maintaining high product integrity and client satisfaction.

Core Duties

• Direct and supervise daily quality assurance tasks throughout our production floor.
• Enhance and sustain the effectiveness of our internal Quality Management System.
• Guarantee adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 benchmarks alongside specific client needs.
• Design, execute, and track essential quality protocols, workflows, and records.
• Direct internal and third-party audits, managing preparation, remediation, and subsequent actions.
• Drive non-conformance reviews, perform root-cause investigations, and implement preventive measures.
• Track performance indicators to help boost overall operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality challenges.
• Analyze inspection data to spot trends and proactively stop recurring defects.
• Handle client feedback and quality inquiries by implementing necessary corrective measures.
• Mentor and train quality staff to foster professional development and team success.
• Verify that inspection techniques and equipment meet all necessary regulatory standards.
• Support vendor quality programs by partnering with suppliers to rectify quality issues.
• Keep precise quality logs to ensure all documentation remains audit-ready.
• Cultivate an organizational environment centered on accountability and ongoing quality improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing quality experience, including time in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• In-depth familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality frameworks.
• Proven background in facilitating or participating in various audit processes.
• Solid grasp of continuous improvement strategies, root-cause analysis, and corrective action workflows.
• Experience managing quality metrics, inspection protocols, and essential documentation.
• Capability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, specifications, and client requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Background in aerospace, machining, or other strictly regulated manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
