Job summary

Xona is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support QA activities in our satellite Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) production facility. The role involves incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials, components, modules, and satellites meet engineering requirements and quality standards.

You will document results in the QMS/MES/ERP systems, identify nonconforming conditions, and support containment and disposition activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and digital work instructions.
• Familiarity with dimensional inspection and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical assembly inspection preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools and lab test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation/traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of purchased parts and materials against drawings, specifications, PO, and certificates.
• Conduct in-process inspections at predetermined process steps during satellite assembly, integration and test build stages.
• Support final inspection for completed sub-assemblies and satellites prior to crating and storage; document results.
