Tessera is seeking an Aerospace Purchasing Buyer in Auburn, Washington. The role supports production control, engineering, quality, and operations to ensure timely supply of materials and services that meet aerospace standards.

You will manage supplier relationships, POs, and cost optimization efforts. We require 5–8 years in aerospace purchasing and strong ERP/MRP experience, with advanced negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of purchasing/procurement experience in aerospace or defense
• Experience with ERP/MRP and supplier performance management
• Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Review material and hardware requirements and production schedules
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers
• Source materials, tooling, and outside services
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and supplier commitments
• Monitor open POs and expedite critical materials as needed
• Ensure purchases meet aerospace standards and certifications
