Job summary

Amazon Leo Propulsion Manufacturing Team is seeking a Manufacturing Functional Technician to support production of flight hardware, including propulsion subsystems, feed systems, thrusters, CVAs, tanks, and integration efforts. The role involves troubleshooting test issues, performing assembly-type tests, and using MES/SAP data tools to drive quality and traceability.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with engineers, training of new hires, adherence to safety and quality

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2+ years aerospace/automotive manufacturing test experience or equivalent industry experience.
2+ years hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and final/harness integration.
2+ years in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot manufacturing test issues and support root cause analysis.
Perform assembly-type tests involving vacuum, high pressure, and electrical.
Use MES/SAP to track production data and traceability.
Provide feedback to engineers on tooling, consumables, and process observations.
Support training programs and help onboard new hires.
Lead process improvement initiatives within the department.
Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Attend daily team meetings and coordinate efforts to minimize interruptions.
