Job summary

General Galactic invites you to Fall Engineering Internship to collaborate with our propulsion hardware team and support flight-system development. You will work alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced startup environment, contributing to design, analysis, fabrication, and testing activities.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, you will gain exposure across the full stack of our growing startup while adhering to export-control requirements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage startup environment.
• US person status is a required qualification due to export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our engineering team on propulsion hardware development, testing, or supporting flight systems (scope depends on discipline/background).
• Support design, analysis, fabrication, integration, and/or test campaigns.
• Help build and document processes as we scale our flight hardware.
• Get exposure to the full stack of a growing startup.
