Job summary

GE Aerospace Edison Works is offering an internship/co-op to work on advanced propulsion concepts for national defense. You will use NX CAD, Ansys Workbench, and Ansys CFX/ Fluent to model, analyze, and optimize aero solutions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for full-time roles through leadership programs or direct-hire tracks. A SECRET clearance will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale without rounding.
• Enrolled in a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program.
• Reliable transportation; many sites lack public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of next-generation military propulsion systems within Edison Works.
• Use CAD tools and CFD/CFX for analysis and post-processing under supervision.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, performance and survivability engineers.
• Engage in hands-on engineering problems and mentorship opportunities.
