Job description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones aligned with program objectives.
  • Monitor and track project performance across scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
  • Identify deviations, assess risks, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Support risk, issue, and dependency management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in resource planning, allocation, and workload monitoring.
  • Participate in project reviews, audits, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry/regulatory standards.
  • Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide technical inputs.
  • Address and resolve customer technical queries in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, tracking, and control within engineering, aerospace, or defense environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret project data, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
  • Familiarity with cost control, Earned Value Management (EVM), and KPI tracking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for reporting and documentation.
Domain & Compliance Experience
  • Experience in aerospace or defense industry environments.
  • Exposure to regulated environments with compliance and security requirements.
  • Eligibility for or prior clearance under Canadian Controlled Goods regulations (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification or training in project management frameworks (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
