Job summary

GeoControl Systems in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead aerospace hardware programs from development through certification. You will build and mentor a capable team, partner with stakeholders, and drive cost, schedule, and risk decisions to meet program objectives.

The role requires a broad engineering background, 5–10 years in aerospace, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 5–10 years of related experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in hardware development, testing, and certification.
• Proficient in cost and schedule estimation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a collaborative team to deliver aerospace hardware.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine systems engineering processes.
• Mentor project management and technical staff.
• Direct activities in requirements, design, manufacturing, testing, and certification.
• Oversee hardware troubleshooting for flight hardware and test assets.
• Review engineering work products for program objectives.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Present Technical, Cost, Schedule, and Risk status to leadership.
• Maintain a productive project environment with accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
