Job summary

Ascent Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and decision support for tooling and manufacturing projects from quotes through kickoff. You’ll partner with Estimating, Sales, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Finance to ensure accurate estimates, market-competitive pricing, and steady cash flow.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, contingencies, and affordability, with cross‑functional collaboration to strengthen quote accuracy and profitability.

Qualifications

• Export Control Compliance required; a "US Person" per 22 CFR.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years in financial analysis, project accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing/finance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Ability to work with both financial and operational teams with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis to inform pricing decisions during quoting.
• Review estimates for cost accuracy across materials, labor, and services.
• Analyze gross margin and profitability against market benchmarks.
• Identify risks and contingencies to protect cash flow and working capital.
• Support the quote-to-kickoff handoff with clear, cross‑functional communication.
