You will perform design work in SolidWorks and prepare PMA/repair documentation for FAA review, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality across assignments. Qualifications

• College graduate or equivalent experience with aviation/engineering background.
• Familiarity with FAA and foreign authority regulatory requirements.
• Experience in reverse engineering and documentation for PMA/ DER processes.
• Strong technical writing and documentation creation abilities.
• Knowledge of design and development quality manuals in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects with project management oversight.
• Reverse engineer, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft components (electrical/mechanical).
• Establish measurement tolerances using industry practices.
• Create and review designs in SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Prepare PMA and repair process documentation for FAA/subcontractors.
