Job summary

Lyntris is seeking a Project Engineer II in Longmont, Colorado to lead engineering efforts in antenna solutions. You will coordinate detailed project plans, manage schedules and budgets, and drive design excellence across engineering teams.

The role emphasizes 3D modeling (SolidWorks/CREO), design reviews, and collaboration with program management and manufacturing to meet customer requirements and delivery milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, RF/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years related engineering experience.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Experience with passive RF antenna components, feeds, and assemblies desired.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an authentic desire to build relationships, share knowledge, and positively impact.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Familiarity with MS Projects.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software experience.
• Working knowledge of analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead development of detailed engineering project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead the design and development of deliverables to all specifications.
• Perform 3D modeling and drafting using SolidWorks and/or CREO.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with technical requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Oversee the creation and validation of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues, implementing solutions to improve system performance.
• Evaluate design changes and ensure their integration into the final product.
• Act as a liaison between engineering teams, program management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure design intent is met.
