Job summary

Valpaks Engineering, a Hanwha Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to manage and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-conscious delivery. The role requires strong technical expertise and peer review responsibilities for junior engineers.

The candidate will support regulatory certification efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive design changes with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in engineering product realization including drawings, supplier involvement, and quality activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high critical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, designs, and substantiates FAA-PMA packages.
  • Reverse engineers and troubleshoots aircraft components (electrical/mechanical).
  • Uses CAD tools to design and document components; defines materials science and metrology plans.
  • Prepares documentation for regulatory certification (certification plans, test plans, substantiation reports).
  • Collaborates with SMEs to adapt procedures and design changes.
  • Coordinates First Article and project conformity inspections interfacing with Supply Chain, Quality, FAA, and management.
