Job summary

Canopy A&D in Irvine, CA, seeks a Project Coordinator to drive execution of aerospace programs. You will bridge PMO, production, and cross‑functional teams, tracking milestones, data in ERP, and on‑time delivery while expediting shop‑floor work.

The role requires collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, with a focus on KPI visibility and risk management. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of direct experience in project management, production planning, or technical coordination within aerospace/defense/manufacturing.
• Direct experience with ERP systems and customer portals to ensure data and milestones align with production status.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to track program goals from concept through production.
• Monitor progress to identify delays and alert leadership to maintain cost and schedule.
• Expedite jobs through shop floors to keep tasks on track and meet deadlines.
• Serve as a link between PMO and Production to collect real‑time updates and recovery dates.
• Identify risks and support contingency plans to maintain performance.
• Update project tools to provide visibility on milestones, backlogs, and resources.
• Enter and audit data in ERP to ensure milestones match production status.
• Support dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for internal reviews.
