Job summary

Apera is seeking a Project Engineering Analyst to join a high-profile team delivering development and qualification programmes. You will maintain IMS in MS Project, track milestones, manage risks, and support qualification activities across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Test and PM teams.

You will prepare reporting packs, dashboards, and performance metrics, coordinate with vendors and external partners, and help drive programme execution in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Practical Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS) experience.
• Experience with integrated schedules and programme performance tracking.
• Ability to work across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Project teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven track record of driving actions and holding teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in Microsoft Project.
• Track project progress, dependencies, milestones, and critical-path activities.
• Manage internal and customer-facing schedules across programmes.
• Support EVM activities, including ETCs, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Develop staffing forecasts and resource plans using schedule data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly programme reviews for leadership.
• Monitor actual performance against plan and identify risks.
• Own and maintain project risk and opportunity registers.
• Coordinate qualification and testing activities with vendors and partners.
• Support cross-functional teams to drive action closure and execution.
• Prepare reporting packs, dashboards, presentations, and metrics.
• Support parallel technology programme scheduling, risk tracking, and deployment coordination.
