Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Reno, NV is seeking a Program Manager III for Defense & National Security. The role oversees all phases of program execution, develops critical management documentation, and collaborates with subcontractors and customers. Onsite or hybrid in Reno, NV.

Qualifications include 10+ years in program management with DoD propulsion experience, and the ability to generate schedules, plans, and CDRLs, with occasional travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university. May consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of program management experience including seven years managing DOD propulsion programs.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Master Plans, Earned Value Management.
• Direct experience managing large Subcontracts.
• Experience managing programs for U.S. Government customers.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and monitors project(s) to ensure scope, schedule, and budget are maintained. Responsible for P/L.
• Defines, generates, and reviews project management material.
• Ensures resources are available for the program (engineering, manpower, production, facilities).
• Collaborates with project staff on budgeting and execution of the program.
• Ensures all program deliverables are met satisfactorily.
• Identifies risks and issues early and elevates them for action.
• Serves as primary customer contact for project information.
• Participates in customer meetings, peer reviews, and problem solving.
• Ensures adherence to internal program management processes.
• Contributes to proposals for follow-on work.
• Travel up to 25% to various customer locations.
