Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Chandler, AZ seeks a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams and own development programs from proposal through production readiness. You will interface with customers, manage scope, schedule, and cost, and drive risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 10+ years in program management, a BS in engineering, and strong leadership with experience in aerospace product development and ITAR considerations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Program Management or related project management position.
• BS degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
• Proficient in PM philosophies and processes.
• Sufficient technical aptitude to understand design and production processes for Crane A&E products.
• Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Results Focus, Customer Service Orientation, Action Orientation, Planning & Organizing, Teamwork & Cooperation, Business Acumen, Decision-Making Skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other PC based office tools.
• This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information; US Persons eligibility and ITAR considerations apply.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate customer proposals and change requests.
• Lead bid package elements ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and update detailed program plans, schedules, and resource needs to meet milestones.
• Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) by coordinating engineering, operations, and supply chain for manufacturable designs and cost targets.
• Serve as primary customer interface with regular communication, progress reviews, scope management, and change-control processes.
• Manage program cost, schedule, risks, and issues; drive mitigation actions and stakeholder alignment.
