Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites is seeking a Production Support Technician for the Salt Lake City campus. The role involves lay-up, braiding, filament winding, and assembly of composite structures, while ensuring safety and quality per specifications.

Responsibilities include material handling, SAP transactions, inventory control, and coordination with production and quality teams. The position requires the ability to operate forklifts, use measuring tools, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School/Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• SAP system functions/transactions.
• Inventory systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies into semi-finished or finished products.
• Lays out articles, cuts parts or materials to size.
• Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycle.
• Controls conditions of heat, pressure, and timing per specifications.
• Monitors and verifies quality of finished product.
• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated parts and subassemblies; read aircraft assembly instructions.
