Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Production Manager for machining, structures and complex assemblies in Santa Ana, CA. You will supervise daily floor operations, manage staffing, scheduling, and cost/quality performance for flight-critical components.

You will partner with engineering to drive cost and quality improvements, lead 6S and safety initiatives, and report weekly metrics. Onsite role with strong growth across an aerospace group.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a production supervisor, manufacturing manager, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes with ability to control cost, quality, and delivery on the floor.
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills, including hiring, training, performance management, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and develop shop personnel; conduct timely performance evaluations and discipline as per policy.
• Own daily workflow and department scheduling to hit on-time job starts and completions; control production conditions to meet quality and delivery.
• Partner with engineering to drive cost and quality improvements into manufacturing processes; advise on manufacturability and cost.
• Track and report weekly performance metrics for people and processes; maintain visual factory with status boards.
• Drive a safe, clean, organized facility using 6S principles and secure resources for production movement.
