Job summary

Automatic Products Corporation is seeking a Production Scheduler to create, monitor, and optimize the master production schedule, serving as the bridge between Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and the Shop Floor. You will balance demand, capacity, labor, and material constraints to maximize throughput.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in manufacturing planning or supply chain, with experience in regulated environments and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems.
• Knowledge of supplier quality requirements and material flow-down controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and publish production schedules for all manufacturing work centers.
• Monitor daily production outputs, track progress against the schedule, and proactively adjust for variances, bottlenecks, or equipment breakdowns.
• Collaborate with Production Control/Customer Service to evaluate lead times for new orders and assess the impact of schedule changes or expedites.
• Assist with cost analysis, price variance tracking, and supplier cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
